Hall Annual Meeting - Monday, January 27 - 8:15 p.m.
Adult residents of Miltonvale Park are members of Milton Community Hall, Inc. The annual meeting of the Milton Community Hall will be held on Monday, January 27 at 8:15 p.m. at the hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The agenda includes annual reports, elections to the board, and bylaw amendments, as detailed at the link below and circulated throughout the community in the December 2019 Newsletter.

Mondays and Fridays at 9:00-10:00 a.m.–Fitness for the 50+ Folks. Drop in for exercise classes to improve balance and flexibility with certified instructor Angelie Carter. Cost $3.. Classes are cancelled if local schools are cancelled or delayed for weather reasons.

Coffee -Get to know your neighbors each Monday and Friday from 10 -11a.m. at the Milton Community Hall. Coffee, tea, and snacks are available by donation of coin or treats!

Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. –Chair yoga -$4. Chairs are used for balance and some poses. Classes are cancelled if local schools are cancelled or delayed for weather reasons. Yoga mats provided if needed

Mondays at 1:30 – Line dancing with Margot Postma   $4 drop in (Need to have “some” line dancing experience)

*On Mondays from 1-3 p.m. (upstairs) Sewing and Craft Work Bee Sessions. Sewing machines are available but please bring whatever you are working on, or work on the community quilt project.
 
** Singing – Drop in to the Milton Community Hall to sing on Tuesday afternoons at 1:15 p.m.
Parents and Tots – The North Milton WI is hosting parents and tots mornings at 10:30 a.m. Fridays for the next few weeks for parents to meet up with other parents and young children, visit and grab a coffee/tea/ juice. 

*-Square Dance Classes – There were three – “Learn to Square Dance” classes planned in Monday evenings in January with caller Christine Belanger to learn some square dancing steps from 7-8 p.m. The final class has been moved from Mon. Jan 27 to February 3, if anyone is interested in dropping in.


The Shenanigans Tour - The Fidgets will be bringing their improv comedy show to the Milton Community Hall (7 New Glasgow Road, North Milton PE.) at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6th. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $10 each. Tickets can be purchased at fidgetcomedy.eventbrite.com.


* Milton Hall Community Dance, Saturday, February 8 -Phase II and Friends will provide the music for a community dance from 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Miltonvale Park residents -$5, all others -$12.  Advance tickets are available at the hall. Phase II and Friends is a seven person group, featuring vocalists Keila Glydon, Jeanie Campbell and front man Gerry Hickey. The band also features four very fine musicians: Blaine Murphy, John McGarry, Pat King and Ed Young.


Family Violence Prevention Week Activity - BLANKET MAKING - Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 beginning at 10:15 a.m.

ALL WELCOME! - Milton Community Hall 7 New Glasgow Road, Rte 224, North Milton
Materials will be provided …although you may wish to bring your sharp scissors.
Fleece blankets to be donated to Anderson House.
Followed by a LUNCH & LEARN with Michelle Jay, Program Coordinator PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women

Donations are also being accepted at the Milton Community Hall for the Taking Care of Women's Business. Period. 28 Day Campaign organized by the PEI Women's Institute to collect feminine products for food banks across PEI throughout the month of February.


Community Play - The Miltonvale Community Players will have three performances of  Some Neighbours -Episode Six: Sheep on the Lamb” at the Milton Community Hall Thurs-Sat, Feb 13-15, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are now available at the Milton Hall for $15. Drop by to pick up your tickets -or e-transfer miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com to have them waiting for you at the door.   Huge thanks to writers Ken Williams and Phil Hooper and all the actors and crew! Proceeds support Milton Community Hall activities and operating costs.


Council for the Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park meetings are the 3rd Wednesday each month at 7:30. Planning Board usually meets the 2nd Wed. at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. The next Council meetings are scheduled for February 19, March 18 and April 15, 2020.

Monday, March 2 -7:30 p.m. (storm date – Tues. March 3)– Budget meeting for the Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park. Everyone is welcome to come review the tentative budget and give input.
