Want to help?
Do you like to paint? The summer students are trying to get the long sides of the hall painted before the end of their summer work term this week. If you want to help put white stain on the long walls of the hall, please touch base at miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com or 902-566-3154
Do you have a green thumb? The students have been doing most of the work for the community garden across from the hall -- and they are finishing their work terms. Would you be interested in helping to harvest the peas, beans, the zucchini and anything else that needs picking? The produce is for folks who can use it, with some being used for hall projects, such as a planned preserving session. Produce and be picked up when it has been picked at the mailboxes at the Milton Community Hall, with occasional drop offs to the mail boxes at Meadowvale Park. If you want to lend a hand, the lower half of the garden (furthest from Rte. 7) is for community use as most of the upper section has been planted for individual use. If you can help - contact Shari at 902-368-3090 or admin@miltonvalepark.com. Also – We are supposed to be reporting the amount of produce grown in the garden -so if you pick some… please keep track of the amounts and report to me!
