Writers in the Round -Rachel Beck, Jessica Rhaye and Graham Nicholas

Writers in the Round sees Rachel Beck, Jessica Rhaye and Graham Nicholas share their songs and stories about them at the Milton Community Hall on Saturday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Glowing with catchy pop hooks, Rachel Beck’s distinctive piano melodies and emotive vocals are captivating audiences across Canada. The PEI songbird’s first single Reckless Heart hit #1 on the CBC Music Top 20 in March 2018. Beck’s stunning debut, produced by Miltonvale Park native Daniel Ledwell, takes the listener on a trek across a wide emotional range- from regret and grief to wonder and joy.

Joining Beck on stage will be singer-songwriter Jessica Rhaye, winner of Music New Brunswick’s Solo Recording of the Year (Song In Me) for 2017. Unabashedly country with rustic roots, Jessica’s stunning vocals and lush melodies, also move easily between folk and Americana.

Toronto based folk/roots/country songwriter Graham Nicholas honed in on his concise form of storytelling and refined his irreverent sense of humor with his latest album, “Dial Tones and Pretty Notes”.

Tickets for Writers in the Round can be purchased in advance at the Milton Community Hall, 7 New Glasgow Road, Rte 224 in North Milton, 902-566-3154, or miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com. Canteen and bar service will also be available for the performance.
