The hall has been funded through the Post Secondary Student Program for 14 weeks (though there aren't 14 weeks left!) for a Hall Summer Manager.
Duties are varied and include organizing and assisting with events at the Milton Community Hall, as well as organizing manuals for equipment, and volunteers.
Activities:
Milton Community Hall Based Activities – purchasing supplies, booking events, maintaining events calendar, creating volunteer list and manual, work at events, event set up, tear down, organize the basement, light maintenance (water flowers, paint, cleaning, vacuuming), update social media, promote events – press releases, website, plan events, research possible hall activities, liaise with renters, gather policies and organize pertinent papers (eg. Maintenance schedule and document equipment)
This position is funded through the Post Secondary Student Program - therefore the student must be registered with the Employment Development Agency http://www.gov.pe.ca/ial/index.php3?number=50808&lang=E

Rhubarb Social - Milton Community Hall
Come enjoy a variety of tasty rhubarb desserts at the Milton Community Hall on Thursday, May 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. Adults-$10, Children 6-12-$5. Preschoolers eat for free.
This is a fundraiser for hall maintenance.
The hall is located at 7 New Glasgow Road-Rte 224 in North Milton.

ACTIVITIES – COMMUNITY of MILTONVALE PARK and MILTON COMMUNITY HALL – Feb. 2016
Come try Chair Yoga with Angelie Carter 9:00 a.m. Wednesdays at the Milton Community Hall until May 18. Admission by donation. With support from the Community of Miltonvale Park, Government of Canada, and Milton Community Hall. For more information – 902 368-3090.
Fitness Classes continue at the Milton Community Hall on Mondays and Fridays at 9:00 a.m. $3 class or 2/$5. Classes are cancelled if schools are delayed or cancelled due to weather.
Coffee Club continues Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Admission by donation of coin of goodies!
Tuesday, April 19 –Annual Fundraising Auction for the St. John's Anglican Church. 7:00 at the Milton Community Hall. Baked goods, gift certificates, household items. Donations of items most welcome!
Lobster Take-Out - Saturday, May 7- tickets $20. Please order by the 4th. One pound lobster (cracked and in the shell) a variety of salads, roll or biscuit and dessert.

Emergency First Aid Course
The Milton Community Hall will be hosting an Emergency First Aid Course and CPR -Level C course on Monday and Tuesday evenings April 4-5 (6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m.) at a cost of $55.
