Hall Annual Meeting - Monday, January 20, 2014

All residents of Miltonvale Park are invited to attend the annnual meeting for the Milton Community Hall on Monday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. The agenda includes reports, changes to the constitution (briefly to add one director to the board, and separate the position of secretary-treasurer into two positions.... and elections will take place for a new board.  Hope to see you there!

Storm date is Tues, January 21.

 

 

Avonlea Show Band -- Friday, January 3 -"2014 Minutes of Story and Song"

The Milton Community Hall and Community of Miltonvale Park are hosting a series of "2014 Minutes of Story and Song" events to celebrate PEI's sesquicentennial -and the Avonlea Showband (Mike Pendergast, Leon Gallant, Remi Arsenault and Brendon Peters) will take to the stage Friday, January 3 at 7:30 for a great evening of entertainment. $10 admission includes a light lunch. Shows continue the first Friday of each month throughout 2014.

Community Christmas Party -Monday, Dec. 16 at 7:30

Everyone is welcome to attend the community Christmas Party with the Just for Fun Band at the Milton Community Hall on Monday, December 16, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Come for music, laughter and the fudge and popcorn that will be for sale! Free admission. Happy holidays!!

Sorry - no house tours this year....

We are sorry to report that the hall will not be hosting Christmas House Tours in 2013... thanks to those who had a agreed to open their homes! We hope to have another tour next year in 2014! Happy holidays.

Christmas Craft Fair - November 30

Milton Community Hall is preparing for the Holiday Season...
There will be decking of the Milton Community Hall on Saturday November 30 from 10—4 p.m., as the hall, located at the corner of Rte 7 & 224 in North Milton will be opening its doors so shoppers can support local crafters and small businesses, while finding the perfect gift for people on your giving list. Admission for adults is $2, while children will be admitted free of charge. There are lots of door prizes, too! Canteen available.

Storytelling Workshop for Seniors (50+)

David Weale brings his experience as a performer to a playful, evening which will guide you to tap into your wealth of personal stories and show you how to share them with ease. If you’re interested in telling your own stories on a stage somewhere, or your vocation has anything to do with telling a compelling story, or if you need to get more comfortable talking in front of an audience, then join David Weale at the Milton Community Hall on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. for this free presentation. Presentation on Wills, Power of Attorney and Health Care Directives

Join the WI ladies of the community on Tuesday,  October 8th at 7:00 p.m. for a guest speaker, Kelly Robinson, from the Community Legal Information Association to learn about Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Decisions (Directives). Everyone is welcome to attend. Free admission. Light lunch served.

Apple Social -Thursday, October 3

Come and enjoy a variety of tasty desserts -- made from apples and other fall flavors - pear, cranberry, pumpkin.... and of course chocolate, too!  $10 adults, $5 children (to age 12) and pre-schoolers eat free. From 6-7:30, Thurs, Oct 3.
