Acadian Soiree - November 7 - 7:30

The “2014 Minutes of Story and Song” series continues on Friday November 7th with an Acadian Soiree at the Milton Community Hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. and featuring Gary Gallant, Caroline Bernard, Remi Arsenault, Patricia Richard and Louise Arsenault.

These artists are very much looking forward to playing together after busy summers with their respective ventures. Caroline Bernard was part of Lennie Gallant’s very successful “Abegweit” show. Remi Arsenault, Prince Edward Island’s 2010 Musician of the Year, is a very talented bass player. Patricia Richard has sung for Prince Charles, and Louise Arsenault was a member of Barachois, and counts fiddle, harmonica, guitar, vocals, and dance among her talents. This will be Gary Gallant’s third appearance on the stage at the Milton Community Hall, and he expects the show to be a lively one.

Tickets are $10 and include a light lunch. Tickets will be available at the door, or can be reserved through the community council office of Miltonvale Park at 902 368 -3090.


The final show in the series will take place on Friday, December 5th and feature Bruce Rainnie and Kendra MacGillivray. These shows are financially supported by the PEI 2014 Fund. The Milton Communty Hall is located at 7 New Glasgow Road –Rte 224 in North Milton.
