Weekly events:
Coffee Club – Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m. No coffee on Good Friday or Easter Monday or on Election Day -April 28. The hall is being used for an advance poll Fri.-Monday from 9-9 from April 18-21
Square Dancing – Christine hosts square dance sessions on Tuesdays, on the 2nd floor from 3-4 p.m. Contact cmr.belanger@outlook.com. No square dancing on April 22.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meet at the Hall on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. For more information contact Joyce at 902-368-2055.
Wednesday AND Friday Seniors Fitness Classes with Michele at 9 a.m. Fee $6. Drop in! If Bluefield family of schools are canceled or delayed due to weather (hopefully not an issue anymore!!), classes are canceled -or may move online. There is no class on Good Friday.
Mindfulness on the Mat – Yoga on the Mat with Leone –Tuesdays and Fridays 8:45 and Yoga on the Chair 10:15. Tuesday classes are hosted by Miltonvale Park and cost $10 for Miltonvale Park residents, $12 for others (Drop-in) on Tuesdays. Contact LightLivingWithLeone@gmail.com for information on Friday classes, which are $13 drop-in fee or are also priced for a series of classes. Chair Yoga classes on Tuesdays are held on the main level when possible.
Zumba with Natalia –Zumba fitness classes are weekly on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. at the hall; $2 for residents, $5 for non-residents. Contact MiltonMVPs@gmail.com to sign up.
Sunday Night Movies – Most Sunday evenings at 6:30. Free for Miltonvale Park residents and by donation for others. No movie on Sundays, April 20 (Advance poll) and 27th (Concert at St. John’s Anglican Church).

Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. Food Presentation with Margaret Prouse – Meatless Meals. Funded in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program. Free for Miltonvale Park seniors, by donations for others. RSVP by noon, Wednesday, April 23.
Sunday, April 27 at 7 p.m. There will be a Gospel Concert at ST. JOHN’S ANGLICAN CHURCH in Milton. Admission is $10.00 at the door. Performers will be Keila Glydon & Judy Lowe, Frank Whitty, Blue Streak, and Allison Coles & Ed MacLaren. Refreshments will be for sale during the intermission.
Monday, April 28 – The Milton Community Hall is being used as a polling station from 8:30 a.m. -8:30 p.m. No coffee or line dancing. The CAO will not have office hours as she is attending the FPEIM conference in Summerside.

Milton Community Hall Annual Lobster Takeout -Saturday, May 10. $30. Pick-up takes place from 2-3:30 Order your tickets here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LobsterMay10 Dinner includes a one-pound lobster, potato salad, coleslaw, jellied salad, roll, and dessert. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Thurs., May 29 – Supper Club -Watch for details. Miltonvale Park’s CHAT and GBT -Growing Better Together Project will see approximately 40 Miltonvale Park seniors come together to cook and eat supper and an activity nine times over the next year.
ParticipACTION and their Community Better Challenge will once again see Miltonvale Park residents and friends try to win Canada’s Most Active Community in June (We are really aiming to win PEI!!) We are planning some dance classes, pole walking, the annual Move More than the Mayor contest and a virtual walk across this great country to Mount Milton in BC! Watch for details. FREE Beginner line dancing will take place on Mondays from 6:30 -8 p.m. June 2,9,16, and 23.
