The Miltonvale Park Year of Canada Project is focusing on Nova Scotia in December – and as it is the birthplace of hockey, we are treating Miltonvale Park residents, aged 55+ to a free ticket to the Charlottetown Islanders vs. Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.* We will need to know who is under 60, or over, to purchase the appropriate tickets for the game. Resident, and Islander bus driver Wilf Banks, has received permission from Coach Atlantic to bring the Charlottetown Islanders bus to the Milton Hall to pickup folks for the game (6:00 p.m. at the hall) and being them back after the game– but we need a minimum of 30 people for the bus. The bus is open to people of any age, who may have their own tickets for the game and would like transportation. Please email admin@miltonvalepark.com or call 902-368-3090 to reserve a ticket for the game (55+ only) and/or a seat on the bus.

There will be a seniors Christmas Sockhop** on Monday, Dec. 19 from 2-4 p.m. More information to follow.

If you missed the Sunday concert (Nov. 13) with Kelley Mooney, John MacAllar and Harmony Wagner -each performance is posted online. The video for the introductory scrapbooking session is also on that page.
The Milton Community Hall still has KN-95 masks and Covid rapid test kits available in the lobby. We also got a donation of cookbooks in the free library today, if they or any of the other available books or puzzles might help pass the time!
