Events- Health Fair, Stew and Stories, Bean Supper....

MILTON COMMUNITY HALL –UPCOMING  ACTIVITIES – "Spring" 2015
 

Tues March 17 – Seniors Health Fair 1-4 - Seniors in the Miltonvale Park area are invited to attend a Health Fair at the Milton Community Hall on Tuesday, March 17 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Presentations will include “Diabetes –What You need to Know”, “Healthy Cooking For One or Two”, with Margaret Prouse and “Ask-A-Pharmacist” with Rebecca Dunn from Murphy’s Pharmacy. Information will also be available on advanced and diabetic foot care, as well as the PEI Healthy Eating Alliance displays on fat and sugar. The storm date is Wednesday, March 18. POSTPONED - WILL BE RE-CHEDULED.


Friday, March 20, 2015 - Stew and Stories -POSTPONED TO FRIDAY MAY 22.  Friday, March 20, 2015 6:30- Local people telling stories of growing up in the area, beef stew and dessert. Cake Auction. Admission by donation. Please contact the hall to reserve your space!


Monday, March 30 -Community AGM –, 2015 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 9th Bean Supper -  from 5-7:00 p.m.  $10 adults, $5 youth, preschoolers -free
Tues, April 14 – WI Auction 7:30 

Fri. April 24 –Curtis Rental – Social 7-9; music 9-11 (92 birthday Alice Curtis, 70th birthdays –Judy MacDonald, Del Moore, Orville Curtis and retirement party – Orville Curtis. Open to all.


Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m -Blessed Assurance and Just For Fun Band -. Join us for an evening with the Young at Heart Musical Theatre for their new show. It's called Blessed Assurance-The Story and Songs of Fanny J. Crosby.  Nancy Beck and Pam Campbell will be performing and there will be a sing-along portion of the show.  After an intermission, the Just For Fun Band will perform.  Admission is $10.

June – Card Parties -Thursday Nights throughout June-September, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $3.

Friday, July 17 - "A Touch of Country" Concert

Tuesday, Aug 18 -Blueberry Social - The St. John's Anglican Church intends to hold their annual Blueberry Social at the Milton Community Hall this year.

Drawdown Lottery Draw - Saturday, August 29 at 7:30. Come see who will win $10,000 in prizes!
 

Apple (and other fall desserts) Social - Thursday, Oct 1st from 6-7:30 p.m.

REGULAR ACTIVITIES 
Community Council -3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.  Council meetings may not be held in December, July or August.

North Milton WI – usually the 2nd Monday of the month

Fitness for the 50+ Classes are being held on Mondays and Fridays from 9-10 a.m.. Cost is $3/class or 2/$5.

Coffee Club - Drop in on Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m.  for coffee and usually some treats.... Admission by donation of coin or snacks!
The Open Bible Baptist Church – Sunday mornings and evenings and Wednesday evenings
