WEEKLY Events:
Exercise class – Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 9 a.m. Michele Gallant leads seniors chair and balance class on Mondays and Wednesdays -Cost $6. Work out with others to an exercise class on the big screen on Friday. Cost – $1. No need to register – just drop in!
Coffee Club – Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m. Open to all – Admission by donation of treats or coins.
Monday Line Dancing (FULL) at 1:30
Tuesdays - at 2 p.m. Square dancing classes. (Upstairs). For more information, contact Christine at cmr.belanger@outlook.com. No class Nov. 18.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meet at the Hall on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. For more information, contact Joyce at 902-368-2055.

RADON TEST KITS - If you signed up to participate, please pick up your test kit by Wednesday, Nov.12 by 6 p.m. at the Milton Community Hall, or confirm you still want it to admin@miltonvalepark.com, as beginning Thursday, folks on the waiting list will be contacted.
Wednesday, Nov. 12 and then weekly until Dec. 17 - Happy Dance class from 4 - 4:45 p.m.for folks aged 45+. Free for Miltonvale Park residents, and $20 for others for the series of 6 classes. If space is available, walk-ins are $5. Contact MiltonMVPs@gmail.com to register.
Fri, Nov. 14 - Volunteers needed (Thurs and Friday) for catering a meal on Friday evening. (Baking, peeling, plating, serving, dishes….) Contact miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com
Sat. Nov. 15- Deadline to buy tickets for the hall’s next 50-50 draw. $3 each or 2/$5 – at the hall or send an e-transfer to miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com. The draw will take place on Sunday, Nov. 16. Congratulations to Dana Coles, who won $85.50 on the November 1 draw.
Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m. - Leon Gallant & Friends bring their East Coast Island roots to every stage, hosting a kitchen party–style concert guaranteed to get your feet tapping at Milton Community Hall!
With Leon Gallant sharing his songs and stories, Olivia Blacquiere adding sweet piano melodies and traditional step dancing, Brendon “Spoonman” Peters showing off his rhythmic spoon-playing and Chris Gauthier on his classic country Telecaster.
This is a show truly like no other — full of heart, humor, and good old-fashioned Island fun. NEW!! Thurs. Nov. 20 – 6 p.m. Countdown to Christmas - with Ms. Sue Pitchforth @Decor Therapy Plus. Sue's quick, easy, and fun festive ideas are for your porch, home, and entertaining! Sue will also showcase brilliant holiday finds from dollar stores! Everyone will take home a giveaway bag, and the winner of the door prize will get a Christmas table centerpiece created by Sue. Free for Miltonvale Park residents, others by donation if space is available. Monday - November 24, 7 p.m. -Songs for Socks - Fundraiser for the Park Street Homeless Shelter. Performers include Ian Toms, Roland Beaulieu, John MacAllar & Joe Arsenault, Guy Robichaud, Corrie Feehan, Bruce Rooney & Jocelyn Fraser, Peter Richards, and Bluestreak.... Admission by donation of cash or clothing at the door.
REGISTER NOW! Thursday, November 27 - Miltonvale Park Senior Supper Club. Milton Community Hall - Eat in 6 p.m. Delivery for shut-ins 5-6 p.m. For residents (aged 55+) of Miltonvale Park. Miltonvale Park's Chat and G.B.& T. (Growing Better Together) project, which is funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, is hosting eight Seniors Supper Club meals at the Milton Community Hall before the end of March 2026. We are planning to feed about 40 seniors in person each meal, with approximately 20 deliveries to local shut-ins. This will be a brown bean supper, with war cake for dessert. Nov. 27 - The talk after supper is open to the public - At 7 p.m., Captain Greg Gallant, CD, Curator of the PEI Regiment Museum, will share lots of interesting stories about Prince Edward Islanders during wartime after supper, in a presentation called Prince Edward Island and the Second War. This is a trivia-based talk, with lots of interesting information. Please RSVP if you are only interested in the talk by email to admin@miltonvalepark.com. FREE.

Thursday, December 4 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wreath Making - If you've ever seen one of Marie's wreaths or made one at her workshop before, then you know how incredible they are. They are all chemical-free and made with the balsam, pine, cedar, and pine cones from the island! Funded by PEI Alliance for Mental Well-Being, the cost is - $10 for Miltonvale Park residents who have not participated in the wreath workshops at the hall before. $20 for MvP residents who have participated before, and $30 for non-residents, if space is available. Sat. Dec. 13 at 7:30 - An Evening with Elvis Christmas Show! $30 adults. $15 for children (12 & under) Featuring the Blue Suedettes. “Elvis” was here in the summer, and the show was FANTASTIC! Don’t miss this one! Tickets available at the door, or in advance by e-transfer to the miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com or at the hall (in a couple of days!)

Resident Billie MacLeod turns 100!! Billie MacLeod turns 100 on November 28. To help him celebrate, please send him a birthday card (anytime now is good -- it is birthday month after all!!). Billie won a gold medal for auction at the 55+ games in 2022 when he was almost 97, and attended card parties at the Milton Community Hall up til the summer of 2024. Cards can be dropped off in his mailbox, or at the Milton Community Hall, or sent through Canada Post to 358 MacKenzie Rd- Rte 256 North Milton PE C1E 0R4. Billie's daughters, Joy MacIntyre and Jill Parsons are also Miltonvale Park residents! Let's help make this a birthday to remember for Billie!
4-H Leader Nancy Hooper is spearheading a fundraiser for the Central 4-H region, making and selling cat and dog bandanas, with the help of 4-Hers, alumni and parents. There are still a few at the hall. Prices are a great bargain at $5.
Looking for newcomers to the Miltonvale Park area who might be interested in sharing information about their hometowns, and differences between PEI and where they are from, for a Tea and Talk. It is a great opportunity to meet some neighbours and for folks to earn about other areas. Miltonvale Community Park – The park is no longer staffed, but will be checked sporadically. If you are there and notice it needs attention, please contact admin@miltonvalepark.com, 902-368-3090 or 902-213-0597. The walking trail and parking lot have recently been paved. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE VEHICLES ON THE PAVED TRAIL! The park will soon be winterized and the washroom closed for the season.
Miltonvale Park Child Bursary - Residents, are you signing your children up for activities, classes, and lessons? Residents are entitled to $75/child/year to reimburse costs of extracurricular activities.
