Student Summer Job - Milton Community Hall

Position to start soon. Approx. wage $14-15/hr.  40-hour weeks
Milton Hall Summer Manager 
Become familiar with hall policies and procedures.

• Update social media and website.
• Consult with board, residents and hall users to develop and carry out programming that will meet community needs while meeting requirements of the Public Health Office, if necessary.
• Light maintenance - cleaning and painting, planting, watering flowers, grass cutting.
• Shopping
• Scheduling. 
• Promotion of hall.
• Assist with the preparation of funding applications and reports.
• Formalizing policies and procedures.
• Compilation of recipes and menus for possible catering.
• Inventory and organize hall equipment.
• Booking and coordination of hall events and programs.
• Assist with community events, including Canada Day, Platinum Jubilee events (teas and concert), yard sale.

This position is funded through the Post Secondary Student Program.
Eligible students must:
• Have graduated from Grade 12; and/or
• Have attended a post-secondary institution full-time in the current year and intend to return to full-time studies in the fall of the current year;
• Be a resident of Prince Edward Island and legally authorized to work in Canada.
